Vertical Crusher VB

VB vertical crushers from CHEMA are comminution systems comprising a continuous impact shaft that is arranged in vertical position in the crusher chamber. The material is supplied through a feed hopper integrated into the upper housing part. Upon contact with the rapidly rotating crusher tools, the material is accelerated and comminuted by the high impact energy.

In order to accelerate the crushing process, the VB is equipped with stationary impact bars in the crushing chamber. As soon as the desired grain size is reached, the material is discharged via the lateral discharge slide. Owing to the special crushing tools developed for this machine type, both impact and shearing operations can be performed. This ensures outstanding material quality, efficient material disintegration and extremely small grain sizes.
